Lisa Erwin-Davidson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an assistant professor in the Communication Sciences & Disorders Department at CSUF. Prior to this position, Lisa worked for over 25 years in the New England area as a practicing SLP and in a variety of settings with individuals across the life-span with complex communication needs. As a collaborative-consultant, she provided AAC services to families, students in schools, adults and children in rural rehabilitation and hospital settings. Lisa is currently Director of an applied AAC Research Lab and AAC Clinic within the CSUF-CSD department that engages with families from diverse cultural-linguistic backgrounds to learn together how best to implement culturally responsive aided language communication systems that promote language-literacy learning and fuller life participation across contexts.
